Lead guitarist and occasional Clemson professor Bob Sinclair came to Greenville from Maine with stops in NC, MI, OK, and OR along the way. His musical background is a mixture of jazz and rock inspired by Jerry Garcia.  First Dead show: - Saratoga Springs, NY (6/24/1984).

Bass player Carl Ferris is another New England transplant coming to Greenvillle from Massachusetts by way of Alabama. Carl is the band's hidden gem - a pianist since the age of 6 with bass skills surpassed by few. His tasty low end licks drive the band's improvisational style. First Dead show: Boston Music Hall (4/8/71).

A native New Yorker and retired NYPD detective, drummer "Big Bob" Cronin has called Greenville home since 2005. You may have seen him in local bands such as Southbound Trax and Full Circle. First Dead show: Madison Square Garden, early 1990s.

On guitar and lead vocals, David Smith is the founding former owner of Smiley's Acoustic Cafe. David has been around the Greenville music scene awhile now and a Deadhead for as long as he can remember. First Dead show: Rochester, NY (9/2/80).

Keyboard player, Red Miller, is another Massachusetts transplant by way of California and Illinois. Red moved to the upstate in 2008. When he's not playing music you'll find him working at Wofford College. Red never saw the Grateful Dead live, but he did jam with the late Lowell George, founder of Little Feat and the producer of the Dead's Shakedown Street album.
